The biggest things to keep in mind are that, again, The Adore Girls’ staff is 100% female, and we’ve photographed more than 2300 women over the past ten years. So, the last thing you need to worry about is being mortified in front of any of us, especially when it comes to period-related issues or accidents during your boudoir session. Not only have we all experienced them ourselves at one time or another, but we’ve probably photographed them, too. There have, indeed, been times when we’ve noticed a tampon string or a visible period stain in a client’s underwear, either during the photo shoot or afterwards while editing her photos. In the case of the latter, we are perfectly capable of editing those types of things out. However, if the issue is noticed by the boudoir photographer during the photo session, she will either adjust the client’s poses so that it is no longer visible, or simply let her client know what is being seen so that the client can make any necessary adjustments, if needed. In most cases, though, our clients never even have an opportunity to feel embarrassed because they are rarely made aware that such things were seen by us.
With all of that being said, it is always a good idea to bring an extra pair or two of panties, as well as tampons, if you know you’re going to be on your period the day of your boudoir session, just in case a change does become necessary. The important thing to remember is that if a period-related accident happens during your boudoir photoshoot, it is not an uncommon occurrence and it is absolutely no big deal to us.
